New to bass fishing and trying to learn to throw a shaky head. I took it down to my pond and caught fish on 3 out of 5 cast. Starting to get the hang of it. I have been working it very slow with a lot of moving (shaking rod tip). Any other tips?

I have very good luck dragging it across the bottom. Use a 6" green pumpkin lizard, (Zoom baits). Academy Sports has the (Big bite shakey heads) that are reasonably priced.

This is it... Doesn't take much for that worm to shake.

I have had my best luck with them on a brush hog. Typically the baby brush hogs, but i have caught some really good numbers of smaller fish on the full size oen too.

My go to was the watermelon candy color.
Never seemed to matter how I moved it I got bit.

But my go to was just draggin the bottom with a slight twitch or raise the tip of the rod up here and there.
