Shell Question

Anyone know how many shot approx. are in the following? Or where I can get that info without cutting one open?

Winchester Extended Range 3.5 inch 2 oz #6's
Winchester Supreme High Velocity 3.5 inch 2oz #5's

Not off the top of my head,
but can almost guarantee you'll get better patterns with the Win. Extendeds, and those #6's will penetrate similarly to #5 copper-plated lead.

Im sure I will get better patterns with the Extended #6s. I would like to see what percentage of the total # of pellets in a shell are going into a 10 inch circle is the reason Id like to find out.

That puts the Supreme HV #5's around 340 then. Thanks. Now for finding out the Extended Range shells. I know its heavier than lead, but not sure what metal it is.

414 pellets in the 2 ounce load of Winchester Extended Range #6.

Ditto, as they are 12grams/cc.
