shot another doe yesterday evening, waited to see if big boy was going to show up. he didnt and a doe was about to bust me, so i swung my rifle around and let one go. my tree was swaying a little so it knocked the shot a little high. hit her right below the backstrap above the shoulder. the bullet continued just below the spine demolishing internal organs, until it coming to rest in the front of the back ham. it pulverized the femur bone. at thirty yards the deer dropped on the spot.
all that damage and not a whole lot of meat damage. i had a hole in the backstrap, and a hole in the sirloin tip of the ham.
