I am here to give a little bit of advice. I am not a genius by no means, nor claim to know it all, but sometimes I do things the hard way and hopefully someone else can learn. Opening morning of bow season, about "Prime Time", main frame 10 with no brow times (8pt) and a super nice 12-13 pt (had a triple brow on one side and a double brow on the other) came out and was within 15-20 yrds of my Eclipse blind. I lined up the shot on the 13pt and felt really comfortable about the shot, it was at a little bit of an angle, but mostly broad side, let the arrow go and I watched my lumenok fly WAY OFF its mark and off into the wild blue yonder! SO, I am at the conclusion, unless the shot is straight out the mesh, dont try to shoot through it! Learn from my mistake! Maybe this will help someone out there that is sitting in there ground blind wondering..can you really shoot through this crap..LOL

Don't know I'm different I guess, but I don't want anything touching my arrows when I hit the release, the mesh from the blind hitting the broadhead or the whisker biscuit rest hitting the vanes. The first thing I want to hit the arrow is the deer

I bought a Redhead hub style pop up blind with the mesh windows. I have never tried to shoot through the mesh...seems like it could cause problems with accuracy.

Actually it was a G5 montec. The only thing I can think is because the shot was at an angle. Still hurts but gotta keep trying!

Thanks for that info! If I use my ground blind I will be very leery of shooting through it with my Slick Tricks. I had been told it wasn't a problem with fixed blade heads.

Good to know!

I think if you was to shoot a straight on..straight through shot, it probably hurt too bad, but I shot through at a slight angle and I think thats really the part that messed me up...you can never get those deer to do the right thing and stand where you need them..LOL. The lumenok actually made me feel worse because I could see exactly how bad it messed it up..LOL

I have shot through shoot mesh without a problem . The key is practicing to make sure your broadheads shoot true through the mesh prior to the hunt !!!

I have a Field and Stream blind with the shoot through mesh. Switched to the Schwacker broadhead this year and wanted to make sure they worked as advertised. Shot through 1 window (different spots) about 9 times and they were flawless each time.
