I've been shooting rages for now 4 years. Always hit with my field points.

3 days before season I shot one as a perfunctory task. It skipped into the target at 60 yards!!!

Long story short, even though I was shooting inside a baseball out to 60 yards, my center shot had shifted and I'd gradually chased my sight setting. This shift was so sever it made a huge difference in BH flight. Had to totally reset my loop, peep and rest.

Luckily I got it lined out and have been wearing them out in KY!

Great advice! To not try out your broadheads is about like some of the hunters that buy and mount a scope the night before gun deer season and never shoot their rifle.

I agree...many (like myself previously) have never had a problem shooting some of the low profile heads. Just a reminder as tn is about to open. Do everything you can to make sure all goes according to plan. It was eye opening to me how much I could be off when field tips were shooting fine and I've been at this awhile.
