Shootin in this heat

I generally get out early in the mornins and get in some practice. Today I wasn't able to shoot until noon time and I will have to say I thought my arrows were goin to melt before they reached the target,lol. Was only able to get in about a dozen shots before the sweat started rollin down in my eyes forcing me to end my shootin session. It is just crazy how hot it is.

I no what u mean i started shooting right at dark just because of the heat

I shoot brief sessions...typically 6 arrows during this heat but will shoot more right at dusk.

It is sure working for me. Dnag1 It is great to be semi-retired.

I shoot very early or very late. I agree it is hard t maintain focus. I come back in the house every few shots and cool down. Sure would be nice to have a dark cool basement about 40 yards long.

I shot for an hour the past two mornings before the temps reached 100 degrees .

I have been shooting each day still.
It makes it a little rough practicing in high temps.

I like to mix my practice up though. Suppose heat is another time to practice.
