I have just decided that I made a poor purchase on my homes location and have decided to stop shooting in my yard altogether to cover my own rear end. I don't trust those people not one bit now. I do however have another neighbor who's property doesn't have anything but woods behind it. He has instructed me to shoot his target anytime at anyday I want. Sucks that it has come to that, but I have to do what's right, even though others won't. This is where it pays to have good friends close by.
