Shooting out of a climbing stand

Yep from a standing position. I cant my bow at about a 30-40 degree angle from vertical so that probably helps, but I've used my brother's summits with no problem.

as Hogbear said it can be done. try it in the backyard first. draw and hold, move around to see how your clearance is before you shoot.

Summit has a new climber called the Razor, and for those that already have a Viper you can by the Razor top by itself from Summit. It has a climbing bar in the front that folds under the seat when you get in position. I bought mine last season and loved it. It provides the "security" of having the climbing bar but acts like a lock-on when you get through climbing and eliminates the bar in the front issue.

I shoot traditional out of a summit goliath with no problems. Like someone else said try it in the backyard first.
