Will they stabilize a muzzy 3-blade? Just got the bow (High Country Max Force) back from my dad (long story) and he had some of these, as well as some with normal fletching. The fletched arrows and the whisker biscuit cause noise on the draw, as the front 3/4" of the fletches actually start out in the biscuit. They shoot the same with field tips, but was wondering if they should work with fixed blade broadheads.

Thanks and God Bless, Ryan

I shoot mechanical head, but many shooters prefer the shorter vanes. I just fletched some test arrows with the 2" fusions. I like them so far. Don't get blazers if you ask me. I have had to many not stick to the arrow shaft. And yes I've tried different glues and I've also tried different prep techniques. They still pop off.

I've had equal success with the 2" fusions and the blazers. Both shot well and had no fletching problems with either (I think I'm just lucky with the Blazers from all the complaints I've heard.) My vote for a short fletch now goes to the Rayzr 2" feather. I'm shooting them on GT Ultralight 400 shafts with 125 gr. points. The arrows weigh out right at 350 grains with a calculated 15.4% FOC and shoot bullet holes through paper. They fly well out to 60 yards so far and if they can control broadheads as well as what I feel that they will, they will be my fletch of choice for a long time.

I like the clearance that they give me on my rest, and I've always preferred vanes over fletches for weather resistance and noise, I've just heard that the 2 inchers will not stabilize a fixed blade broadhead. I like Muzzy 3 blades, they're tried and true, as well as tough and inexpensive, so I plan on going with them, as my dad was using cheap mechanicals with this bow before I got it back from him.
