Shot some today and...

Jacked up 2 of my arrows. I went to Old Hickory Archery Range and my first shot blew threw the target and when I pulled my arrow out the back it ripped my wrap. Got done and shot one more time at the first target and it did it again!!! Should have learned my lesson.

Oh well, just means I get to fletch and possibly wrap some more before the season.

Anybody know when they will get some new hay bales out there???

Replacing the bales is in the works. When shooting at the bales do not aim for the kills. Instead, aim for less conspicuous spots such as an ear, nose, black dot, tail, etc...... Even though we already know it, I will pass what happened to you along to the President and Vice-President of the club.

I just got mine back from being refletched. First two shots the fletchings fell off.

Yep shoot at the feet nose ears horns. My arrows are zipping right through them too. Keep on shooting 3D tourneys out there and the clup can get the money to get some new ones hopefully.

I like the Range shooting but i like 3d targets better.. Good luck with the fletchings and arrow slinging.
