My neighbor and I finally had time to pattern our 20 gauges Saturday. We used a new to us shot trap and out of 5 shots retained 95% of our TSS. Only lost 120 pellets and it's probably stuck in the carpet. He was shooting an 870 compact 20 with very similar results through an IC.555.

Affinity compact 20 gauge with a trulock .565 and 1 5/8 oz load of TSS 8.5's.
10" - 275 - 70%
20" - 116 - 30%
391 total

Good looking pattern, but "a little" on the tight side. Have you tried any chokes with more open constrictions to see if your 10" and 20" will normalize (~50% in each)?

I didn't, but I do have a flush carlsons .575 that I may try and the factory full. I'm going to find something more open for my son that isn't like shooting a rifle.
