Next season I have a feeling I will be going back to a red dot. This loosen a screw and guess how far to slide you sight with no real marks to tell how far you went or if it wiggles on you and you can't tell where u were to start with is for the birds. To beat it all I loosen the elevation screw by mistake and had to try and get it back right. Anyway a little high at 40. Mossberg 835, Gobblin Thunder .670, Longbeard 3.5" 2oz 6 shot. Had 248 in the circle. Could have passed 250 if I counted touching but not really inside the line.

I am going to have to get a rest and posterboard and get the sights right. I think I am going to get me a couple boxes to have in stock before the price goes up.

I kept hearing about these long beards so I bought a box. I shot four birds with 5 shells ( one I had to finish off--the closest one) using Hevi magblends: two under 40 yards, one at 54 and one at 60 (yes I practiced up to 65). It would be hard for me to switch but I have a new scope I have to sight-in so I will try these new ones. I do like the price--$20 for 10 shells vs $30 for five!
