Went out to do my daily shooting and I was hitting WAY high. Anchor point is consistent, nothing else had changed since last time I shot but the way things were my 20 yrd pin was hitting dead on at 30 yrds. Moved all my pins up the proper amount to correct things and not I'm hitting dead on again at 20/30/40.
On a similar note I really do need to get a rear sight of somekind on this bow. I found one called the ProMaster Fine Line Rear Bow Sight that looks like it'd work pretty well. That way I'd not have any bow torque to throw my shots off left or right and unlike the Hind Sight I'd not have to worry about lining up a pin in the sight. Just center all the pins between the two vertical lines and that's it. Anyway, just wanted to share a bit. Talk to ya'll later.

The vibration of the bow prob. loosened the sight up.

I do not know very much about the rear sights.. Hind Sight is about the only one I've ever seen. I personally like to keep things simple. Too many things to tweak with..

Not a chance. I have em' marked AND I had em' tightened down real good. I think I'm just getting more use to shooting so I'm not pulling shots like I did at first so I needed to tweak the sights a bit. I'll double check em' again tomorrow, if they're still on then I know it was me getting use to the bow and they needed tweaked. If they're off again then I know it'll be me and maybe my anchor point. Either way I really would like a rear sight on my bow, I think that would help a lot.

It could just be you... I used to have the same problem, I would torque the bow a little when sitting at the wall.

Ethier get the rear sight, or get a torqueless grip.

Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner. Yep, that's what I'm thinking. Bow Torque(which I thought would be more left or right)or just maybe my anchor point is evolving a bit. Just need to keep shooting until my muscle memory kicks in then it'll all be golden.

bow torque normally affects left and right impact. if you was hitting high I would think you either had too much heal in the grip or you anchored just a bit different. Last but not least your peep could have moved up a hair as well

I don't want to put anything like that on my string. I do want to get either a ProMaster Fine Line or Hind Sight rear sight for my bow to stop bow torque but peeps are just too much of a PITA.
