sights

That looks like a good sight. Honestly, you would probably be fine with any sight made today, as long as you stay away from plastic. As Stik said, its personal preference. Each type has its advantages at disadvantages. With a multiple pin sight you can have a pin dead on for a certain number of yardages to eliminate having to hold high or low. However, the more pins you have the more clutered your sight window is. Also, in the heat of the moment you can shoot the wrong pin. With a one pin slider you can have a mark for a whole lot of yardages and you can move it to each one and not worry about aiming high or low. You sight window isn't as near cluttered up. However, it could be hard to adjust it with a deer near by & if you can't you will have to hold high or low. Also, you can make the mistake of thinking its set on one yardage and it be on another. You just got to weigh the pros and cons to decide what's right for you.

I just got a new diamond razors edge and i was just wondering if a redhead kryptik 5 pin sight would be a good choice. Or are there any others that would go good with it.

with one pin set on 25 yds for open areas and 20 yds for thicker stuff, i hold dead on out to 35 yds. no holding high or low.

Unless you want to shoot one at 40, which you may not & you can hold dead on to 35 with every setup.

30 yds. is generally my max. if i have a wide open 35 yd shot at a relaxed deer,i MIGHT take it.
