Ok. Since I am getting a new bow, I was wondering what kind of sights you guys are using nowadays. I have an old tru-glow one pin fiber optic. I want a one pin sight. Have been lookin at some of the new stuff out there and was wondering if anyone has tried any of the holographic ones? Particularly the SABO one? Experiances....pros/cons?

And I was thinking a fall away rest. I want to get away from my old rest where I had to have my left trigger finger holding it to the rest until I shot.....kind of annoying, and my finger would cramp!

As far as sights go I use an Extreme 4-pin sight and love it because it takes all of the guess work out of calcuating adjustments for various yardages a deer maybe at during hunting. I use a single pin for 3D because I know that yardage.

For a drop-away, I highly recommend the Ripcord, it is a full-containment and setup is a breeze. Another drop-away, although I have never used it, would be the QAD.

Black Gold makes excellent sights with an unconditional warranty.

Rip Cord is a good fall away. I use an AAE Pro Drop fall away that is limb driven vs attaching to the cables.

Well I put an order in for a SABO GEN2 sight. As soon as I get it mounted I will do a review. The bow comes with a whisker bucket on it for a rest......Just don't know if I trust somethin that touches the fletching.....

Here is a phot of it. Got it in the mail yesterday. THese dots are bright and crisp just like it says. I like the fact that it promotes good form in the design of the sight.

The idea is to line up the dot with the green line and you have a non torqued shot. I did have to go to academy and pick up a tru-glo ultraviolet light. Screwed right into the side of it. Makes the dots glow REALLY bright in low light situations.
