Signing day tomorrow and no recruiting talk?

Re: Signing day tomorrow and no recruiting talk?

This came out about a week ago... UF has ZERO players from that school they are recruiting.

Re: Signing day tomorrow and no recruiting talk?

There is no talk because the usual suspects don't really have anything to crow about ;) !

Everyone knew TN's class doesn't sooth the star gazers, and that is to be expected with the way the season played out.

What is head scratching is the relatively poor class the Gators have to this point. Mac sure isn't getting much mileage out of being two-time SEC east champs :D !

I agree.... He has to field a good offense or it will continue to be.

Re: Signing day tomorrow and no recruiting talk?

You're not hearing much talk from the Bama side of the fence because it's almost like signing day had become a non-event. Saban already has five 5-stars and five 4-stars for 2017 on campus and attending class. Signing day is really just icing on the cake. They are likely to pick up another two 5-stars and up to as many as thirteen 4-stars. :tu: Gotta love college football: success breeds success!

There's lots to talk about but to many people get all flamed up on here and take this stuff personal. Almost like they are still running around with their favorite team's Underoos on...... :rotf:

According to Rivals Bama has 7,5* recruits already. Hard to compete with that. Good luck everyone.

Re: Signing day tomorrow and no recruiting talk?

More from the ESPN article....

The Gators are hoping to finish with a signing day splash. Yes, Florida will land some quality players, but it won't be enough to stave off the taunting from rival schools on Wednesday. Go ahead and stay off Twitter and Facebook, Gator fans, because your friends from Athens, Knoxville, Tallahassee and Tuscaloosa will do all they can to pour salt into the wounds after a suboptimal recruiting finish.

Shoot, what does ESPN know. :tu:

Just shows his inability as a coach that he hasn't won 5-6 in a row :D !

BTW, it's good to be king!

Yeah, I'm not counting those two extra chickens until they're actually hatched (signed). IF Bama manages to land all 7, that will be a coup -- there are only about 35 5-stars listed, so that would mean Saban picked up 20% if this year's class. That's literally a conference share of 5 stars. Now if they only all reach their potential...

Actually I believe 32 - 5 star players each year. They picked that # because it's how many players get drafted in the first round of the NFL draft.
