Flew in Thursday morning hoping to put the smack down on some mountain birds. Saw nothing Thursday. Pulled camera cards from since December. One pic with 41 birds in March, and lots more since.
Never heard a peep Thursday afternoon. Driving to get seed at my my distributor and some other essentials at Wally World, we saw 4 flocks driving around about 2 PM. Thursday afternoon......nothing. This morning....not a peep. Saw 7 deer coming in to the blind this afternoon, and we managed to call in a lone hen around 4:30. She saw the decoys, clucked a few times and rolled on in another direction. Really hoping tomorrow morning pays off. Last hunt. Gotta make it happen.
