Silencing a Box Call

I posted this over at OG, but thought I'd also post it over here.

Here's what I do:

1. Use a pipe cleaner
2. Put one end of pipe cleaner between the box and the lid.
3. Close the lid over the pipe cleaner
4. Wrap the loose section of the pipe cleaner under the box and over the lid
5. Twist the pipe cleaner to secure the lid


This method both silences the call and prevents the lid from sliding around. Give it a try!

Good tip. I use a peice of old cloth between the lid and box and then rubber band it shut.
