Fishing sucked all day. Started at sunrise below old hickory. Trolled for walleye and thre jigs too and all I had to show was a drum. Mid day I went above the dam and trolled part of the lake for a while. Caught a 12" crappie trolling, and then a largemouth with a plastic craw on my way back. Still not much at all.

Went back out to another part of the river with a buddy for some catfishing. Caught this one, it may be my biggest flathead but its a baby compared to what all the locals say and show us pics of. So I will be back agains pin, hopefully when the fish bite more. Maybe the cold front shut them off. Weather sure was nice though

this was 11 lbs 5 oz and I know they go over 60 in there so I will be sure to fish there some more this summer and hope to get a big one. I should have brought this one home to eat but maybe next time.

I blame it on photobucket. I had the correct image selected but it gave me the wrong code. Then Tndeer wouldn't load so I put the phone down and went to bed. Hadn't drank anything I swear :D not when I'm driving the boat

Nice flathead! Those are some pretty good fighters. I usually pick up a few nice ones like that every summer trolling for crappie.
thanks, they are good fighters. My buddy got one last summer trolling for crappie on priest.
