Where I am, it's like the turkeys have left the county. 4 hunters in camp and no one saw squat. Heard 2 solitary gobbles on the limb and 1 gobble at 8 am. The plot watchers don't lie, but this cold front had to have shut them down! With a 10 year old in a blind on a clover plot deer hunting then till dark. Not what I like to do, but dang it's like they're in winter patterns again! Last weekend on juvy it was hot!

Yep, it was tough here no gobbles after fly down. But after about 8 you couldn't hear a gobble if you wanted to with the wind. The wind finally quit about 7 this afternoon. Hopefully it's better in the morning.

Birds were on and off here throughout the day. Already a better start than last year, it was too quiet for me last year
