I got a deal and bought a Masterbuilt electric smoker this past summer to play around with. I've smoked some sausage in it but I finally tried out some pork in it. I have to admit it did a great job. Three hours of applewood smoke, two hours wrapped in foil with some apple cider, and finished for an hour with pecan smoke. Temp variation was +/- 6 degrees and I'm happy with the smoke output. Fun stuff.

exactly how i do mine. most of the time though i just slather the top with sweet baby ray old hickory and brown sugar before i wrap them. i switched to st louis ribs and like them a lot better than baby ribs.

looks great,I have had a 40" MB smoker for about 10 year only down fall is having to load chip tray often, I had longest smoke putting small chunks in it, use pellets in it now which aint often. Pellet smoker gets used most of the time now but Masterbuilt will do lower temps for sausages ect.

I'm stuffed as a tick on a healer hound, but that made me hungry, great looking ribs, had to be tender, great job, but unfortunately, you're now hooked, expect to own more smokers. :poke: :tu:
