If you're a DIY guy..... For wet wading i have always bought some used hiking boots (or sturdy hiking sandals) at the thrift store ($8) and a replacement felt sole kit ($15, comes with the glue) and made wading boots for cheap....

Ive never had any trouble. And to my surprise...after making what, 5 pairs, never had a felt even try to come loose.....that glue is the kitties whiskers.
