My first pair of rocky boots in the late 90's where very good. They kept my feet dry and where as comfortable as sneakers. They finally wore out. I have yet to come across a good pair of waterproof boots since then. I have tried rockys cabelas, etc.. None are even close. Feet get wet jus from dew. The guy at the store will replace one pair. But its between you and the company after that. He said boots are so poorly made he cant back them. All the boots that i look at on the internet get bad reviews on being waterproof. Even the danner boots get bad ratings on this issue. I would like to hear from other turkey hunters on here. What is your favorite boot that keeps you dry. Besides waterboots. I dont like waterboots because they are hot and heavy once the temp gets up.

I dunno, I got myself a pair of $20 game winner boots that are "waterproof" but will soak thru if they get wet enough. They will have to do though. I'll wear them out just like my last pair, once they start to fall apart I'll get another pair

I just go with the Rocky snake boots
from BPS
Im on my second pair and really have not had any problems
with them. Yes they leak a little but it really takes alot of water for that to happen. I usually have my bird killed before the wet boots bother me too bad LOL

I wear the rocky boots and I'll deal with wet feet over possibly gettin snake bit. My buddy swears his mucks are snake proof but idk how they are neoprene for crying out loud

I have worn them all I swear, and none other then the first series of Rocky Snake boots stayed waterproof for any length of time. I tried Danners the last 2 seasons and they were horrible, leaked after a week each time, total of 5 different pairs. The new Rockies are absolutely awful as well.

I got crazy this year, and spent the big $$$ on a pair of Russell Snake boots, I have not got them yet as they are being made now, but hope they meet the dry test.

I only give like 99 bucks for my first rockys. Man I wish they still made them like that. Im going to try a pair of Irish setter mountain vipers this year by red wing. I also have a pair of water proof socks that I have used the last 3 season with my rockys. Maybe these new boots will hold up better. I dont like wearing the socks or drying my boots out each day.

i was in nashville back in mid 90's and i bought two pair of the old rocky snake boots for 40 bucks a pair on clearance,im still wearing the first pair.probably the only good decision i ever made in nashville

Muck does make a snake boot.

I think they are called Woody Armour?

I have had a pair of rocky side zip paratrooper style boots that I work in for 3 years now and they are still waterproof. Not sure how their hunting boots compare in construction but I will strongly consider rocky for my next hunting boot.

Turkeyburd i tried on a pair of muck snake boots. They weigh almost 7 lbs. I did not like them at all. I cover to much ground for that type of boot.
