First of all, congrats to everyone who has had success this weekend! I absolutely love the spring woods! Except for the snakes, which leads me to this...

Question - can anyone recommend some COMFORTABLE snake boots? I've tried Rocky and Lacrosse and even after "breaking them in" they still don't fit well and tear my feet up. If you have some that you like, I would love to hear about them.

Thanks!

I know Rocky makes several styles so not sure what style you tried.
These were very stiff the first year I tried them but after two encounters with copperheads the very first and second time scouting new property I wasn't going to risk it....
After awhile they finally break in or I tolerate them one.... I don't like snakes either :D

Danner jackal 2, the most comfortable hunting boot I've ever put on my feet, and they aren't even broken in yet

Danner boots are great for me, and I've worn them all

There is a place here in Maryville, well Alcoa that has the Danner Pronghorn's on sale for 129.99. They will also ship.

caught a huge Garter and a nice sized Eastern King this past Friday. They were a tad cold, so even the garter was quite docile.

Go to Scott County and see how docile they are.

Not sure which Lacrosse you had but the Mudlite Snakes are comfortable to me. They're HOT but comfortable.
