Whatever happened to the two and three wide shuffling for positions that used to be restrictor plate racing? This is one big round of follow the leader.

I thought the racing was good . I didn't care for the coverage with the commercials in the lower RH corner . I found them annoying .

I'll have to agree with you 89montero, it's almost impossible to do anything. Too bad the race wan't 100 miles, then you would see the 3 wide stuff and cars all over the place like it ended up.

I disagree about this race only. I hate plate races, I think they all do, but this one was different. Having to lift, having to adjust the car all night long, having to pull slide jobs.
Drafting, teammates pushing them, luck, working deals on when to pass, all that "plate" stuff didn't play into the race this time. This time it was about the handling, dare I even say skill. Something I haven't seen for a long long time in Daytona.
I think they should heat the track up for every race there from now on. One of the best races there I've ever watched.
