UGA kicks off a trouble maker, a rival team signs them. Only this time it is not Auburn or Louisville... He would have been a starter for the DAWGS this past season, and has unreal talent, but Richt won't put up with this type of behavior. I know that Richt is not the best X's and O's coach, but I will take his integrity over the wins.

"Taylor, from Millen, Georgia, still faces two felony counts of aggravated assault in Athens, Georgia. He was arrested on July 22, after police say he struck his girlfriend with a closed fist and choked her during an argument at his dormitory room at McWhorter Hall. A UGA police report said Taylor is 6-foot-4 and 340 pounds; police said his girlfriend is 5-foot-11, 170 pounds."

Ahhh, now I understand why Saban got on that soapbox about giving kids a second chance a couple of weeks ago ;) :D !

Guys like that should not play football. They should be in jail. Saban did go off about dumb college kid mistakes and giving second chances but in my eyes a couple FELONY charges are MORE then dumb college mistakes.

Well, Bama fans just surrendered their right to bash Jameis Winston and FSU for similar behavior.

Per the article, Alabama would have us believe that athletics and football had zero to do with his admission to the University. In other words, Alabama would have admitted him whether he was a tremendous football talent or not. I don't buy that, but ok. What that means is that if you're going to bash this decision, you have to bash Saban and the University of Alabama admissions office, because apparently at the University of Alabama these kind of charges will not get you kicked out or serve as a reason for not admitting you. I'm sure all the women attending Alabama are thrilled about that.
