I planned on taking my student turkey hunting......but the school administration found out and told me I couldn't do it.....unless I filled out paperwork for a "field trip"....we were going to hunt on Sat/Sun. I was shocked. Times have changed.

Dang. I wouldn't think it would've mattered as long as it wasn't during school. I would probably just go on and take him if his/her parents didn't care. Just my .02

too many teachers who have abused children in the past 5 years have given a black eye to the profession. Stinks for the 99.999% of the great teachers who actually care about the children. So sorry you are having to deal with the PC Bullcrap that goes with today's society And thank you for trying to involve the next generation of hunters. It IS important!
