purchased a spartan cam the other day that sends pics to my phone. I am wanting to set up an extra battery or solar charger or the combination of both. How long will a set up like this run the camera on photo mode? I'm guessing a long time but not sure. What's the best setup?

I'm no expert , but the solar panel should keep the battery charged till the card is full . I have one but never put it on any of my cams . Guess I should . Would love to be able to get pics on my iPad/phone but Verizon service is terrible on our place in Christian Co . Had a Covert , never got it to work over there .

I bought the AT&T camera and service is better than my Verizon phone where I have the camera at. I was surprised to learn I could do that since I have Verizon phone service. I have only had the camera for two weeks but am loving it so far. I can change any of the camera settings, have it take a picture on demand and it also sends me a status report (battery, signal, space available on the card etc.) every day or you can change it to send you a report whenever you want. Also the camera will wright over the oldest pictures on the card if you chose for it to. I put lithium batteries with a lithium battery/solar charger attached as well. I am curious how long this will run without maintenance.
