My phone pics were not good, I got the color off trying to make them clear... but here are some "purdy" birds...one of the hens had a 8-9 inch pencil beard!

Very nice ,But that means a long hard season ahead.
when they get hened up you have to wait until they start nesting before you can call them.They will not leave what they already have for one yelping over the hill.Wait until they start nesting around 10.o clock in the morning and you can call a lonesome ole boy in.Not seen this in years,to early for the gobbler's to be with hens.Usually have a week or so at the beginning of the season.Gonna be rough,sorry to babble ,Nice shots though backstraps.
 
GoodTimeCharlie, they are looking to be on schedule on the places I can hunt. Just have not heard as much gobbling in the pass few years as I've heard this year. Im actually glad they've henned up a little early this year...maybe they'll get all the social stuff out of the way...lol.

Hope they cooperate this weekend so the juvis have a great hunt
