I've been on some great hunts this year and even had a little success.
Had a longbeard and two jakes coming in on a string one morning, but two coyotes ran in and messed up the whole thing. Well, only one left that morning.
Last Saturday I set up on a good ridge where I had seen and heard plenty of toms the previous hunt. Payed off as a hen came by at 30 yds with this guy in tow. 20.5 lbs, 1" and 1 1/16" spurs. Had 4 beards but haven't measured them yet.

Congrats on a fine bird.. I have had coyotes and dogs barge in on me while working a bird in both woods and fields, most of the time they will quieten down for a while but if your patient they will fire up again and come looking for that hen they were so interested in...... A dead coyote is always a good one.....Good job, sir!!!

Thanks guys. I killed the yote on my family farm. I killed the turkey on my inlaw's property in Greene County.
