anyone got a slate call of his you are willing to part with? been wanting one for a while and think i may pull the trigger this year. said i wasn't gonna buy any calls this year but really considering grading one of his slate

yeah I've had one in my had like 4x at the show and bought something else instead i needed more at the time. his slate are freaking top notch and now that i have sold all of my slate calls i want to add just 1 back and id like to get one of his in maple or something. i can wait a few weeks and see if his stock gets back up but would like to find a use one if i could.

i had TNREB looking at the show for me to grab one but he didn't see his booth so i blame him at this point hahah

I'm not a big fan of halloran's calls but his new slate has a lot of turkey in it....I was very impressed.

Lon's Zebrawood slate is killer, ran it a few times Saturday along with the Birdseye maple. I preferred the Zebrawood.

I didn't care for his non crystal surface calls but his mouth calls are legit.

I have his birds eye maple slate and its a good one. I killed a turkey the first trip out with it. Macks usually has them on sale after the season.
