I think it just means Schiano wants to be a HC again (and probably will be after next year), this frees him of safety coach duties, teams can add a tenth assistant now, this equals out the staff with 5 O assistants and 5 D assistants, and I think this also means Schiano is going to focus more time on LBs, an issue this past season because Urban wouldn't fire his best man (Bill Davis) after one year.
