Sitting here in a blind trying to get my son his first buck and have 33 hens come strolling by. Come on spring!

Foxfire...there's a ton of birds around here as long as you can get permission to hunt them. This pic was from my inlaws 15 acres and I normally don't turkey hunt there the way everything is laid out. Only reason we're deer hunting it is the big 6 they've seen. They don't want any does killed for whatever reason.

You said it on the permission, I've been try'n for the last 5-6 years to get my foot in the door with a couple pieces of ground in the Shelbyville/Wartrace/Normandy area & it just aint gonna happen.

Seems the mid Tenn area is just covered in birds, seen a flock near Fayettville a while back that would probably be in the 75+ birds numbers, the whole field was just black with'em.
