I am kinda looking for a new turkey gun. A couple buddies suggested a 870 Supermag. I was looking online and seen there was an SPS with a 20" barrel. Anyone know anything about this gun?

Personally, I think thats a lot of money for an 870 with a barrel that's too short and an ugly stock. If it was my money, and I wanted a new 12 gauge pump turkey gun, I would buy a 26" black 870, spend the money on shells and/or choke, and I would go kill turkeys.
It's whatever you like, a buddy of mine has one just like it. He really likes it and it shoots very good.

Looks good to me. Wonder what brand red dot that is? And if it will live with magnum Turkey loads

I'd keep shopping..... I 2nd the 26" barrel.... 23" at the very least....

And I have 3 of the Old School Rem 11-87 with 21" barrels from the 90's that throw some wicked 40 yard patterns with .650-.660 chokes.
Nothing wrong with the 20" barrels, not with today's shells with fast burning powder..
