Has anyone had any experience with this camera. I like the idea of having a SD card 250' away from the camera to keep from disturbing a site and maybe to catch a thief!

I think the concept is pretty cool, but I can't justify the cost of that system. Also, it seems like the wireless feature that automatically transfers pictures from the camera to the hidden black block has been hit or miss for some users. This does not surprise me because short range wireless technology is frequently hit or miss regardless of the application. Note - there is a new version of the Tiny-W2 called the Tiny-W2s. The new version has sound recording and the wireless functionality is supposed to be improved and more reliable. If you get one I would definitely get the new Tiny-W2s version. Here are some reviews of the older version -

I might consider it if the price falls to down around $175, but even then it's still a red flash IR camera and I've told myself I'm only going to buy black flash cameras going forward. Spypoint does have a new black flash version of that system (the Tiny-W3), but it costs over $300. It has an advertised wireless range of 500ft, and the black box can host multiple Tiny-3 cameras that cost about $215 each. However, if I'm going to spend that much I might prefer to get a cellular camera or maybe 2 or 3 non-wireless black flash cameras so that I could cover more area.

I think you should definitely get the Tiny-W2s or Tiny-W3 system so you can let us know how well it works!

I have the regular tiny -w, great pics except sometimes when it takes pics all I have is a purple screen with the time and date. can't figure that one out I think the original one sd card goes out to 50 ft. only thing I'm not crazy about running off AA batteries
