Anyone shooting these around here. Have been very interested in these for a couple seasons but havent had a chance to give them a try. I planned on it last year during gun but the week after gun started I ended up selling my whole set up. Now that ive got ready for bow now I think I may give them a shot unless someone can prove to me otherwise.

Try them if you like....buyer beware.....pay your money and take your chances! You will need to shoot a DROP-AWAY REST with a lot of clearance. The FOBs are noisy in flight and cost you in FPS. They are also illegal in some sanctioned shoots. They are a solution to a non-existent problem, sort of like the .45 Gap was vs the .45 ACP.

Just my humble .02 cents worth! I'm sure others on here will praise them!

I've tried them. Like DC said, you have to make sure you use a rest with some major clearance. They flew Ok for me, but not any better than regular fletchings. The only advantage I could possibly see with FOB's would be for someone that doesn't have their own fletching equipment or doesn't live remotely close to a bow shop. Even then, I think I'd drive the extra distance to find someone to fletch rather than going with FOB's. I see no advantages to FOB's over regular fletchings.

10 4 thats what I wanted to hear some honest opinions. I am shooting a qad hdx which would probably clear fine but I've also they are hard to shoot on a faster bow. I think im just going to go with a bitzenburger right helical fletching jig and keep shooting my blazers they seem to be grouping just fine out of the new rpm. May as well stick with what is working from me now.
