Starter Set for Five Year Old?

What do you guys recommend as a good bow for a 5 year old boy? I looked at the Bear Scout set, but wanted to see if anyone had good experiences with something else. Thanks!
 
Depends on how much you wanna spend , I bought my 5 yr old a Diamond atomic last year . It will grow with him for a while and it's a solid bow for the price .
 
Got our 6 year old a diamond infinite edge and for $350 plus arrows and what it actually does IMO it is well worth it. I would recommend this one to anyone.
 
My son wanted the same thing last year for Christmas. I looked and looked and went with the Bear Brave. It says 15-20lbs but the lowest my bow man could get it was 20lbs. I was ticked because he couldn't shoot it on Christmas or even afterwards. Got a refund and went and bought the mini Genesis. Perfect for the young ones. Draw weight going all the way down to 6lbs and has zero let off. None I found were that low and my son is 4 and he couldn't pull 20lbs. Hope this helps. I was searching everywhere last year asking everyone and everything they suggested would be good for a 8yr old +.
 
Thanks, I just ordered the mini Genesis, although I don't think you could have gone wrong with the Diamond either. Appreciate all of the feedback!
 
Shoot me a pm with a video shooting it. Mine shoots his all the time. Come spring when I work more with him I'm gonna start taking him to the local shoots. I put a whisker biscuit on it for him. I'll wait before I put a peep on later.
