State record spurs!

I believe the state record spurs will be topped really soon, I recieved a pic today of a set of 2+ inch hooks that was killed in spring 2011, pretty sure it's legit!

x2. The first thing I did was measure my finger, just like in the picture, for reference, and my ruler showed a tad better than two inches. Just an estimate and for sure not exact.

x2.... I came up with around 2" myself.... But everyones fingers are different.

But just imagine how big they would be if the hunter had let that bird age another year.

i'm getting excited aobut next spring already and we ain't done with our deer killin yet....
 
Awesome! When I killed my bird that had 1 7/8inch spurs, I really had no idea how to measure correctly. I relied on a couple of experts, but I don't think there are official scorers like in B&C, but I could be wrong.
