I bought one for my SBE2 last year and missed several birds at first with it. (I know I should have shot it before I went hunting)

Anyways, have any of you gone from the straight stock to steady grip and it change your POI or is it just me?

That stock def. does due to the slope of the stock !! I put a bear creek comb raise on mine and it fixed the issue and reduced the check shock !!

Yes and missed more times in two weeks then in the previous 20 years combined. I could not keep my head down even with fiber optic sights. Try a red dot it helps

Glad to know I'm not the only one. I missed more that I care to admit. And one was at 20 yards lol. May try to raise the comb on it because I really like the grip

I missed them standing in wide open roads, food plots and thick stuff. I missed at 10 yards and 30 yards and in between. Threw the gun off the mountain and spit on it for good measure.

Those who know me know I normally never ever miss and preach focus at killing time. However the angle of the stock caused me massive issues

My favorite miss was a group of 3 that let me empty the gun and I never cut a feather. I consistently shot 4-6 feet high on birds, but patterning it I was dead on

As final steps said it also lessened the beating my cheek took, the angle with the grip outs the full recoil into your cheek bone and hurts pretty good after a while

Did you change back to straight stock or did you find a way to make it work?

I switched to a Burris speed bead and i haven't missed again. I was anti red dot but after using it, I couldn't be happier

yeah i didn't have any issues shooting skeet or dove, however ducks was a different story. If i have to pick the gun up or grab it and stand up i didn't like it but if i could almost shoulder it and be somewhat ready it was fine.
