How many of you guys that have claimed to have boycotted watching NFL this season are tuning in to the Super Bowl?

I didn't boycott them so to speak but have really lost interest since Manning retired. Probably watched about 6-8 quarters of reg season ball. I did watch quite a bit of playoffs. I will definitely watch the super bowl and be pulling for eagles. I think they have what it takes and could shock the world. With that being said, if I was putting money on it, I'd bet the other way lol

I know that wasn't EXACTLY what you was asking though

I didn't boycott it. It happens everywhere. I enjoy sports and will continue to watch it. Don't agree with it but I like sports.

Nope not watching it. Boycott firmly in place. Even been invited to a superbowl party. NOpe

This is me, but actually watched less than that. Not sure what a boycott actually means anyway.

I'll do like I always do and record the game, and then watch it when I get home from church. FF through all commercials and halftime. I can watch the game in a little over two hours and will most likely finish close to the time the game actually ends.

I just hope its a good game.

Never boycotted and will be watching the Superbowl. Not saying I agree with it but it's not enough for me to not watch.

It will be a good game regardless of the winner. Commercials are one of my favorite parts honestly [emoji16]

ill watch it. ive watched the NFL here and there all year. why would i protest it? its not gonna do anything.

when the stands are half full and the $5 million for a 30-second spot is not filled something may change. but not watching it at my home is not gonna change the world. but to each is own

I've never been an NFL fan, but I did email the list of sponsors listed on this website expressing my thoughts on the players "protest" .

...and I disagree with the folks that claim not watching is pointless. Any business that loses 20% of its patrons/support/business should be in panic mode. The NFL is no different. The broadcast networks are taking the financial beating right now...but in the end, they will just pass their losses on to the NFL. They will feel the sting when they renegotiate their Television contracts in 2022. TV/NFL viewership details according to one of the experts in the industry:

attendance at games have been down all year, yet in december a committee of owners negotiating Goodell's compensation signed off on a contract worth roughly $200 million over five years. and a super bowl commercial costs $5 million for a 30-second spot

The average NFL franchise is now valued at $2.3 billion according the latest valuations released by Forbes.com, a 22% increase over a year ago and a 64% from 2014. Overall, that means the 32 NFL franchises have a combined value of $74.8 billion.

it will be a shame to lose to Foles. Eagles have been putting up lots of points and the patriot defense looks like Swiss cheese
