The dates and times on these pics are correct. I put a trophy rock out March 19th and checked the camera this weekend while out turkey hunting. In addition to the 6pt on camera, I saw a spike and 4pt still in hard horn while turkey hunting. Is this abnormally late? These were taken in Wilson County. The other pic was just a cool pic of a deer on its hind legs with a deer I will now call "Scar" in the foreground.

Bucks holding their antlers late is a good sign (low rut/winter stress). For healthy herds, it's not uncommon for bucks to hold last year's antlers until the growth of the new set in spring pops the old set off from underneath.

Thanks BSK. Good info to know. I just don't recall personally ever witnessing this. Between 3/19-4/3 I had 376 pics of deer at this trophy rock site. They are absolutely demolishing this thing.
