Not trying to start or perpetuate a rumor, just trying to get a definitive answer from a reliable resource. Rampant, rampant gossip that the CWD counties are still open on private land but I've seen nothing from TWRA, no press releases, no email or text notifications, no contacting landowners, nothing.

Anyone KNOW anything (vs heard from the neighbor who got details firsthand from his brother in law)?

It and unit L were open for an extra week on private lands, but haven't heard they extended the CWD zone any extra days beyond that.

As far as I know, Unit L and CWD closed on the 7th for private lands for everyone and on the 9th for juveniles

It is only open IF you have a depredation/CWD permit issued to you my TWRA for private land only.

Thanks all. We emptied and wiped all our rifles down and put em back in the safe already but some folks still talkin'bout it's open. I ain't seen nothing official. Nothing.

I got a few rabbits and skwerls on the brain then turkeys.

Deer season for us is done.
