Strange things happen when you shoot a deer with a bullet, arrow or bolt. This picture is exactly how I found my deer. Bolt seems to have barely penetrated the hide. About 2 inches broke off and kept going through the deer. Broadhead went through the h

eart, exited opposite side chest and threw front right leg. When he ran with so much of the bolt sticking out I was worried until I saw him crash. Just thought it was interesting. He came rumming to the tree my stand was in and stopped. I think he caught my sent and was trying to figure out where I was. 2 yard shot almost straight down.

Swhacker 100 grain. I think the broadhead did its job. The bolt broke

Very possible. Blood most of the way up the shaft, but not on the fletching
