Striker Recovered from Spine shot (pics)

I said I'd post some pics of the G5 Striker broadhead after butchering my 10 point from Saturday. (Pics on Offical Kill Pictures thread)

The Broadhead passed through not only the spine, but the shoulder blade as well, stopping just under the skin. The massive internal damage was very impressive. The vertebra where the arrow passed was like mush. The side of the deer looked like a rifle shot.

The only damage to the broadhead was one of the blades was slightly bent. The tip is still sharp enough to scrape shavings from your thumbnail. A few minutes of cleaning up and a few seconds to put in new blades and she's good to go. $26 for a set of three broadheads off eBay.

They are a much better built broadhead than a Rage in my opinion. A Rage would not have had a blade left after going through that much bone.

I Know some people think this is too graphic for the internet, but considering the other stuff out there...

You should see the video I took of my three grandaughters playing with the legs. I don't think they put them down for over two hours.
