hey guys. I have a friend with a recurve limb crossbow that needs replacing. he lives in Jackson. does anyone know of anywhere locally that he may be able to get a new string or of a website that he may be able to order one?

Check customer service for the brand he has.

If it's the one I remember I don't think the brand is on it. He got it about 20 yrs ago and it was old then. Been shooting the same string all this time and 2 strands just recently broke. Then he decided to get a new string.

He may need to order a custom string. There are folks in the Excalibur forum that will make them for your buddy. They will just need a measurement.
