Bought a new Strother Valor a couple months ago.... Not sure how, but somehow the string got screwed up pretty bad.... I'm thinking it happened when I took it to my neighbor's house to leave during our vacation.... I usually take my Bows & guns to his house when we are gonna be away or a while...(just to ease my mind a bit)
Anyway, the string had a few strands visibly broke or cut, so I ordered a set of Vapor Trail... Now the bow is quite a bit louder.. Also, It has some sort of dual cam (Viking)system). WHat should I look for on these to make sure everything is good? I also noticed the cables are now real close to my vanes when I shoot.. Should I check for cam lean & adjust with the Y-end of the Cable? I have always dealt with single cam bows & this one has me a little bumfuzzled..... I reckon I should take it back to the bow shop, but I would like to be able to beat this thing by myself :)

I would guess your new string and cable needs some twists/untwists to get everything back in spec. I've used multiple string makers and I have never had one be spot on on the first try. The first thing you should do is check your measurements and see if they are what the bow is supposed to be and check cam rotation and cam lean like you said. I've only messed with single cams since I started doing my own work. I am not sure what to tell you to twist/untwist but if you tell us if the measurements are long/short, someone on here can probably tell you.
