We hunted hard Saturday but just couldn't get a good shot on one. We got setup this morning to find out they roosted a hollow back from where we just came from. They are hammering down over there. We get up and head that way. We bump a single gobbler off roost and he flew way down to hollow. Still had several gobblers and a group of hens on the opposite ridge. They fly down and follow the hens out the hollow in to a cow pasture. We head back up on top of the ridge and start the long hike to get around them. We get set up on a nice partially open hill side with little groups of trees scattered out all across it. These little groups of trees are perfect to setup in. We get setup and I do a couple series of yelps. It wasn't long I can here one drumming but can't pin point him because of the wind. I start hearing putting and he snuck off the ridge behind us and spotted my little man moving so he eased back over the ridge. We stay put for a while I knew that big group of turkey was below us somewhere but the gobblers have got tight lipped. After about 30 minutes I start calling again but still no gobbling. After about 15 to 20 minutes this guy came in on a string. He makes a great shot on him. This bird is a hog he weighed 27.3 pounds 10 3/4 beard 1 inch spurs
