I am getting ready to buy a new mathews heli-m. There are so many accesories to choose from, I was just looking for some suggestions on what rest and sights to go with.

I'm a big fan of Black Gold sights. They have very bright pins and an excellent lifetime warranty. They have various price points. As far as a rest I recommend Vapor Trail's Limb Driver but there are many good rests out there including QAD and Rip Cord.

I second the black gold sights. I've shot several rests including all the drop aways and I'm seriously thinking about going back to the whisker biscuit.

3x on the Black Golds. I have shot ALL the high dollar brand pin sights....I've had the Axcel Armortech, the Spot Hoggs, HHAs, SureLoc Lethal Weapon. And the Black Gold trumps them all. Even the lower end Black Gold Rush sight is better than a lot of these other sights.

The only one to outdo them on fiber brightness are the HHA sights but they are heavy sights...the Black Golds aren't.

I just ordered a Black Gold Vengeance sight with 6" dovetail extension as my 3D target and hunting sight.

The only bad thing I can say about the Black Gold sights are this...the pins can be TOO bright during the mid day light. Even with the purple color changing thing on top of the fibers, the sun light makes them really bright and to me...they will starburst out. To remedy this...just cut off some of the fiber material and it helps quite a bit.

I like Ripcord rests. You get full containment without any fletching contact. They are about as simple of dropaway to setup as you will find. Also, you can lock the launcher up when adjusting the rest. I never have liked having to try and hold the launcher up trying to get it where you want it when setting up a rest.

As far as sights, stay away from anything plastic.

Hey fellas thanks for the suggestions so far. I was already considering the ripcord rest and I believe that is what I'm gonna go with. I am also looking at the black gold sights. I personally have never heard much about them, but they seem to be a favorite to several tndeer members.

I shot several drop away rests as an experiment for John. When he was going to put my fixed one back on (which was an awesome rest)after I shot the trophy taker, I refused to let him switch them. It is still on there after several years and I haven't had to adjust yet.
I love my Viper sight, too.

I know alot of people including myself are very happy with the NAP apache drop away...and its priced great.

If you shoot long range "40+ yards" I would go with the smalliest diameter pin you can find. The bigger diameter pins seem to blurr out the target.
