Not looking to spend much but BPS has both the Primos 35 and Moultrie D55 on sale. Any users of the 2 have any suggestions?

Honestly, I suggest purchasing or building a homebrew. I havent had any use with either of the cameras you listed but have heard lots of good from the Primos, and lots of bad from the Moultrie.

Good luck on your choice

I have had the moultrie out for a couple of months and have gotten alot of pictures and videos on it. The only complaint I have is the card can be difficult to get out if you stick it in backwards!

my only complaint with moultrie is very slow trigger. good customer service like bigsatt says. i still have two cheap moultries still going after 5 yrs. there great salt like cams because of the slow trigger. i dont have a primos to comment.
For the money though look at wgi x6c model i think, when it came out it was 150 now you can find them for around 110. suppose to have excellent pic quality and video. slow trigger but faster than moultrie.

For the money and I guarantee better pictures ,I would build a homebrew,100 bucks and you can have a nice cam,if you have the tools and other stuff.
I guarantee you a P32 ..3.2 mp will blow any commercial cam out of the water.
If it tears up ..FIX IT YOURSELF,that is the good thing about these things,If you have trouble you can send it to some of the more advanced builders, believe me if it can be fixed they will fix it.The homebrew crowd are more then helpful. They are the top of the line..intelligent people.
