Its just another flavor profile,Weber makes a coffee rub its decent but I prefer classic salt pepper garlic rubs ,I like the T Bones but the strip steaks can be tough to find with any marbling, any hickory smoke on them ? :tu:

Agreed on S&P! Sometimes I like to add something but not often. As for the coffee I've read it's a good meat tenderizer. I've also read something about making a pot of coffee letting it sit a while then pouring it over a steak as a marinade with other spices never tried that though. Personally I like the char it puts on the steak.

I like to use a little of it on burgers they always turn out really good. Never tried the weber coffee rub so don't know about it. I have some of their other rubs though the honey garlic is good on chicken. Steaks had a kiss of hickory on them but not much. T bones are good but I like the big tomahawk myself!

May be time to grab a bottle of zesty Italian ,folks condemn it but deer or beef steaks its hard to beat for a quick marinade ,like all kinds of flavors and try not to get hung up on any 1 flavor, pork steaks with McCormick smoke house maple is really hard to beat if your just grilling them
